I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, offering breathtaking scenery and stunning views. The breakfast was delightful, with a variety of delicious options. The pool was amazing, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The room provided a comfortable retreat, and the hotel grounds were impeccably clean and adorned with beautiful landscapes. A truly memorable experience.

Best place to stay in Giza .

Within walking distance of the Pyramids (10 mins ) and 15 min taxi ride from the Grand Egyptian Museum. Stunning views of Pyramids from bedroom ( room 430 ) and restaurant. Hotel and grounds are kept immaculately and all hotel staff courteous and friendly .

Room air conditioning a bit noisy at night . Otherwise exceptional .

The right place in Cairo if you come to visit the Pyramids

Location, fantastic views to the Pyramids, perfect setting, service and food in the main restaurant and in the Indian restaurant, rich food options on breakfast, comfortable beds, smiling and friendly staff

The noise from outside at night time prevents from a good sleep. I believe the hotel could do some improvements on the windows seals to ensure the guests' sleep. Also there were no sockets next to bedside tables to recharge the phones. The hotel rates do not suggest to expect such issues and omissions...

Lovely oasis in noisy Cairo

Amazing location overlooking the pyramids with good rooms

A lovely hotel but with staff problems. The restaurant staff were clueless - at one point they gave the family a table and while we were collecting our food gave it to someone else! Service was slow. When we left we forgot a couple of things. The hotel quickly found them and said they would send them but it took a month and numerous emails to actually get them to act. A nice hotel but could do with better staff training.

The price for dinner buffett is way too high. The waiters come to the table and ask if we liked the food and if we are satisfied with our stay way too often and sometimes during the eating with our mouths full - that is annoying. Sometimes overpolitness is not good. Everything is good in moderation.

Historical features , location, facilities etc, we are so glad we stayed in Mena house, it’s absolutely wonderful experience.

There are wedding parties going on during the weekend. Sometimes the music is a bit loud for the guests.... maybe they should either lower down the volume or stop the music by 11pm.

Iconic location, extortionist management

The location is unbeatable and iconic. This hotel has a monopoly on the view over the pyramids. Timeless and inspiring.

This hotel made us pay a 200% premium on the tickets for a nearby show. They made us pay 70$ for 2 tickets and transportation. A local would have paid 35$. We did not receive any premium services- no guides, no tours, nothing. Our taxi driver stood in line to buy us tickets just like everyone else- but charged us double! When we complained to the staff, we were met with extreme arrogance, the manager refused to speak to us. This is a classic case of an iconic hotel and location gone bad by dishonest management.

Great view from the pyramid deluxe room. Good quality breakfast in the morning and helpful dinner and breakfast wait staff.

There were problems with housekeeping. Twice between 9 and 9:30am, I had someone come to my door to check if it was occupied or to try to refill the minibar. Before 9:30am!!! They didn't know it was occupied!!? The second time, the man was trying his key in my door, but luckily, I had used the bar lock or he would've walked in on me changing. Not impressed considering this is supposed to be a 5 star resort.

No worth the price.

Very close and view to the Gyza Pyramid.

Not modern which is ok! However, they had no varieties for breakfast- same thing every morning. For the dinner buffet they don’t even give you water. The staff was ok. I didn’t think they were helpful at all. And I say all this because the amount of money I paid I expected more, Period! I’ve stayed in the Marriott in Asia and USA, hence why I chose the Mariott in Cairo, and I’ve never been disappointed but in Cairo, I was highly disappointed.

Great indescribable location, super friendly stuff, very clean. The area is beautiful to walk and enjoy the view. It was very touchy to receive a surprise decoration and a cake for my son’s 1st birthday!

I have found 6 cleaning tablets at the kids pool. The worker said its fine to have it in...maybe fine for the skin, but definitely not for kids who can eat/try to taste it... also as a person who has a pool i know that those tablets should be placed in the evening. Good thing that he removed them directly after my comment.

Beautiful hotel if there are is no wedding..

The view from the hotel on the piramids. The restaurants and the breakfast were perfect, I could not wish for something more.. The swimming pool was very nice with good beds around it. The hotel has a great history and lovely rooms with good beds.

We booked 2 months in advanced for 3 nights 2 piramid view rooms and just a week before departure our rooms were cancelled. If we still wanted to stay in the hotel we had to book 3 different rooms during our stay. Which ment that we had to change rooms every day. Luckely the reception helped us on the second day to a swimming pool view room were we could stay for the last 2 nights. Unfortunately, we also had a wedding every night with loud music till 4:00 a.m! We had to wear earplugs to get some sleep..

The view is like none over- you were able to see the pyramids from the front of the hotel and it was stunning.

We found that the morning staff were a bit friendlier than the evening staff who had an unpleasant and rude attitude. There was one evening that a member of staff went to clear our food without asking if we were finished and I had to tell her I wasn’t. We made a complaint that one of the mattresses had metal sticking out of it as my mum scratched herself on it when climbing into bed. They asked us if we wanted to replace the mattress or change rooms. As we didn’t want too much hassle we said to just change the mattress. It seems that the mattress they replaced the broken mattress with had bedbugs as from that night both myself and my mother were covered in bed bug bites - my mum who was sleeping on the bed more than myself. We at first thought they were mosquito bites however have gone to a clinic since who has advised they are indeed bed bug bites. We also had an issue with the food which wasn’t at all of the standard we expected and flavourless. We barely ate on most days due to the food being poor. We found that restaurants closed completely in the afternoon/evening for outside private functions which meant less options than promoted on the website. Finally we asked for a buggy to help us carry our luggage to reception when checking out. After approx 30mins no buggy had come so we had to pull our luggage to reception in which we were told it’s because they were short staffed. This in turn made us late to the airport and nearly missing our flight. Overall the experience was very disappointing and it is far from acceptable to get bed bug bites from a hotel, especially of the calibre of the Marriott.

Nice, but oh! the loud party music ruined it.

The pool was lovely and we liked having a view of the pyramids from our room and from the dining hall.

The music from the outdoor party held at the hotel was so very loud we couldn't sleep and it didn't stop until 1 am! We had decided to spend the night there so we could get a good night's sleep before our dawn function but we didn't get any sleep!! It was terrible!
